The Delahabas

Living lakeside in Virginia, the Delahabas recently welcomed their second baby, Camden, into the world. His older brother, Andy, was born prematurely less than a year earlier — meaning these parents now have two babies under the age of one. A truly wild and magical ride, as they described it.

Along with two dogs, Harvey and Taz, a cat, and even the occasional front-yard deer, this family of seven has no shortage of responsibility or movement filling their days. It made it especially meaningful to give them space to slow down, soak it all in, and savor the sweet moments together during this session.

High school sweethearts Joe and Caitlyn are raising their family in a beautiful, tree-filled home by the water, while Joe runs a local property management company.

After a year full of unexpected change — welcoming a new baby and navigating a job relocation — the Delahabas wanted to document this chapter of life exactly as it is: present, chaotic, and filled to the brim with love.

It was such a joy to photograph them. We took our time, let the babies lead, and captured their connection in a fun, slightly flash-forward way throughout much of the shoot.
